محمد رسول الله
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The world gazes with awe at unveiled pharaonic graves. We are impressed when we find bones and belongings from the Middle Ages. And it simply blows the collective mind, to see skeletons and fossils of animals thousands of years old.
Here is something that amazes me:
Because many people in this world grow up with a fairytale view on the Bible. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David… they become cartoons in a play. To most of us. We learn nursery rhymes about them and we remember them by their covenant (if I say rainbow, most people will remember Noah).
But what happens when a prophet becomes real?
The sandal above, belonged to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). In addition to his sandals, he left his turban, staff, and clothes behind. Even strands of hair! All of a sudden, the man emerges. And he was an inspiring, holy man. Shama’il Tirmidhee compliments the belongings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
By knowing about him, we become closer to him (peace and blessings be upon him). And just like I was saying in an earlier post; since he (pbuh) becomes closer to you, how do you want to be perceived by him (pbuh)?
Salaam alaykum,
Sarah
